LABORATORY RIGOR

Batch Testing & QC Parameters

Our production facility operates an approved testing contract with Catts Lab & Research, Okhla, New Delhi (government-approved testing laboratory for Ayurvedic medicines and cosmetics).

Microbiological Examination

Conducted in compliance with WHO and European Pharmacopoeia microbiological limits:

• Total Aerobic Microbial Count (TAMC): < 100 cfu/g (Tested range: 49–129 cfu/g)
• Total Combined Yeasts and Moulds Count: < 10 cfu/g
• Absence of Escherichia coli (in 1g)
• Absence of Staphylococcus aureus (in 1g)
• Absence of Pseudomonas aeruginosa (in 1g)

Heavy Metal Analysis (ICP-MS)

Raw botanical extracts and finished formulations are tested for four toxic elemental contaminants:

• Lead (Pb): < 10.0 ppm
• Cadmium (Cd): < 0.3 ppm
• Arsenic (As): < 3.0 ppm
• Mercury (Hg): < 1.0 ppm
• Full compliance with EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009 and US FDA safety benchmarks.

Soap Physical-Chemical QC

Finished soap batches undergo rigorous saponification completion and alkalinity checks:

• Total Fatty Matter (TFM): ~78% (Grade 1 Premium Bathing Bar)
• Free Caustic Alkali (as NaOH): NIL (100% neutralized)
• Free Fatty Acid (as Oleic): ~0.55% (Superfatted lipid cushion)
• Physiological pH: 8.3 to 9.1 (natural non-drying saponification)
